Liquid silicon byGrowth Technology. Silicon is a very useful nutrient for plants. It is found in all
found in soils, but not in hydroponic nutrient solutions so far!
The silicon strengthens the walls and produces stronger, healthier plants with very dense root systems
and a bigger one pest resistance and diseases.
Silicon is very basic and has a high pH, and can therefore be used to raise the pH of hydroponic nutrient solutions.
Highly beneficial for plants at 20–50 ppm in the nutrient solution. At these concentrations, it is not present in nutrient concentrates and must be added separately.
It plays an important role in the uptake and vascular transport of mineral nutrients and can significantly improve the mechanical strength and disease resistance of the plant.
